When it debuted in 1990, the 997 was beloved immediately. When the original model was discontinued years later, it became legendary. Today, the 997 remains one of the most sought-after models in the entire New Balance archive, especially when it reappears for special occasions. For Fall/Winter ’24, the 997 marks its first appearance in the Made in USA Seasonal Collection. The classic wedge-shaped silhouette, featuring a distinctive high set heel pad, is outfitted with leather, mesh, and hairy suede construction and features a neutral, moonrock and driftwood, color palette. ​
